Claude Enterprise adds team usage reports, in-conversation surveys, and shared budgets

Smart reports allow the administrator to choose a team, a period of up to 28 days, and the products (chat, Claude Code, and Cowork). They classify sessions by deliverable type and flag friction points and inefficiencies. They were previously in beta. An account owner must activate them.
Also arriving are brief surveys after a Claude response (usefulness, time saved, best practices, dependency) and shared budgets by group, with alerts at 50%, 75%, 95%, and 100% of the limit. They are not available with customer-managed encryption keys, HIPAA, or hybrid deployment.
Anthropic says the reports are not meant to evaluate individuals or inform employment decisions, and that names are hidden by default. The article's author describes them as a surveillance tool, which is his own opinion.
